Hey Parents! Summer is almost here, and whether you have school-age kids or not, we know the way your household runs during these months can be very different than how it runs in every other season. In an effort to better partner with you in your children’s discipleship journey, we not only wanted to make you aware of the key dates and events happening in the NewGen Kids world this summer but, if you flip to the back, you will also find a fun, interactive chart with some discipleship ideas that your family can enjoy together as well. It is our hope that you would use this chart as a fun way to track and celebrate the discipleship habits your family forms over the next few months. So, please do yourself a favor and quit reading this and turn over to the back to check out our “Before All Things in my Summer” challenge. I know that you can do it!

WHEN

Winshape Camp is a day camp for kids who have completed grades 1-9, and it’s coming to our Mandarin Campus! Whether your child likes soccer, science, or anything in between, there is something for everyone. Come be a part of this incredible adventure where we combine sports, recreation, arts, Bible study and worship into one incredible week!

June 12-16 (Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm; Friday, 8am-11:30am)

BEFORE ALL THINGS: IN MY SUMMER CHALLENGE Below you will find five ways to help discover and deepen your relationship with Jesus. See how many of these challenges you can accept this summer and then place a check mark or a sticker in the box to celebrate what you accomplished! LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR Brainstorm together something nice you can do for someone who lives by you and then do it for him or her.

DEVOTION TIME Set aside time and devote it to God by reading an ageappropriate Bible and praying together.

MEMORIZE SCRIPTURE Pick a Bible verse, write it down, and place it somewhere around your house to see how long it takes your family to memorize it.

YOUTUBE WORSHIP Go to YouTube and type in “Eleven22 Kids Worship Music” to sing our favorite Kids’ songs together.

SERVE AS A FAMILY Serve at Hope's Closet Thrift Store by calling 904-685-6828 or visiting coe22.com/hopescloset. Sign up to volunteer at Feeding Northeast Florida at feedingnefl.org. Take some gloves and trash bags to clean up the beach. Feel free to make up your own way to serve!
