Everything that Jesus Purchased for us is and will be delivered by the Person of the Holy Spirit! The only way that Christians enjoy the benefits of Christ Jesus is through the favor of the Holy Spirit! Luke 1: 67-79 Luke 2: 8-14 Vs 14 “…and on earth PEACE, good will toward men.” This act by God and from God would produce Glory as He would bring the capability for Peace to men and eventually Peace to the Earth…! Before Jesus left us, He told His Disciples not to fear, not to worry… Fear not, fret not worry not, John 14: 1 “Let not your heart be troubled…” The alternative to fear is PEACE! The deliverer of Peace is the Holy Spirit. Jesus said that when the Comforter comes: – He will make His presence known to you! – He will Declare God’s Name to us. – He will Teach us what we cannot know now. – He will bring to remembrance what we need to remember from what He has said unto us. – He would bring peace to you. Vs 27 “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Why? Because, when the Comforter comes, He will deliver to you Peace! He started in Verse one telling us to have peace and by the Comforter we can have it! Here in Chapter 14: verse 27 He says, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you.” In Chapter 16: 33 He says “…These things have I spoken to you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 20: 19 Jesus came unto His disciples in the upper room after He had ascended to the Father and He said “Peace be unto you.”

After Jesus showed them His hands and His feet, He said then again “…Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.” Vs 21

Eight days later, Thomas was in the presence of the disciples and made the statement that he would not believe unless he was able to see for himself, not only to see him but to put his fingers and hands in Jesus wounds. In verse 26 Jesus showed up – even though all the doors were shut, He just appeared and said “…Peace be unto you.” Three times He said to them that He wanted them to have peace, but notice Vs 22 as He said “Receive ye the Holy Spirit” The Holy Spirit delivers Peace! Acts 1 – They had Peace even thou Jesus just up and left! They could face whatever the future would be because of what they had received, the Holy Spirit was on them and more of Him was coming! Acts 2 – They had Peace in the midst of the new beginning because of the presence of the Holy Spirit! – They had peace in waiting! – They had Peace in Praying! – They Preached a Gospel that produced conflict but it wasn’t in them, it was around them. Remember the words of Jesus: I did not come to bring Peace to the World but Conflict! Matthew 10: 13 – He sends His disciples out to preach and said to them that those who receive you, let your peace be come upon that house… but those who rejects you, take your peace and leave! Vs 34 “Think not that I have come to bring peace on earth: I came not to bring peace, but a sword.”

Then who gets Peace? Those who receive Him, receive Peace! Acts 10: 36 as Peter was preaching to the household and friends of Cornelius he explained that Jesus came “preaching Peace, He is Lord of all.” Revelation 6: 4 when the Tribulation begins, Rev…5 - 6: 4 The Red horse will “…take peace from the earth and that they shall kill one another…”

What we have learned is that the Holy Spirit is the delivery Person Who can bring Peace to you! John 14: He (the Comforter) will bring peace to you! This is the only way to have peace! If an area of your life is not surrendered to His will, there will be no Peace in that area of your life! Jesus is the Prince of Peace! He came to bring Peace on earth toward men but unless you reach to Him for it, it is still sitting there waiting on you. It is available but waiting for us to return to Eden where God was God – for where God is God, there is Paradise!
