EXECUTIVE SUMMARY RubiQube is a reward – based online advertising platform that drives engagement and monetization opportunities for publishers, while delivering rewards to their end users and providing advertisers with highly engaged mobile customers. Reward based advertising involves rewarding end users for interacting and engaging with advertisements. According to a research carried out by Millward Brown, in partnership with SessionM, advertisers can increase brand recall while publishers improve lifetime value when end users are incentivized for viewing advertisements. The study postulates a value exchange equation to assess online advertising, finding consumers more likely to engage when offered tangible value in exchange for their time and attention. Currently, advertising platforms offer publishers ads that are intrusive and distort their customer's user experience also aren't efficient in increasing conversion rates to advertisers as intrusive ads limit user engagement, the Rubiqube ad platform on the other hand rewards customers for interacting with ads, improves users lifetime value by giving customers freedom of choice to view ads and finally improves conversion on ads by getting the users to actively engage with advertisements. Rubiqube ad platform collects and aggregates advertisements uploaded by advertisers and delivers these adverts to content publishers who then offer end users the adverts in exchange for a reward. Our mission is to create the largest marketing automation platform which offers a full suite of online ads to help the brands reach the right user at the right moment. Our initial target market is Nigeria and we plan to gradual expand our reach towards the rest of Africa and the world. According to the PWC - Entertainment and media outlook 2014 – 2018 Report, the internet advertising market in Nigeria is estimated at $72 million and forecasted to reach $160 Million with a CAGR of 32.7% by 2018. And in terms of the total addressable market, Nigeria has over 50 million internet users with a penetration rate of 28.4%, and spend more than 3 hour daily online which amounts to an approximately 100 million impressions a day.

The team is currently made up of three Co-founders; Mukhtar Oyewo, an Architect by training, with three (3) years experience as an Operations Coordinator at Ofserv an Oil and Gas services company, a project manager, a GIST transformer, a Technology Entrepreneur with loads of experience in product conceptualization, business planning and business model development, Market research, customer development and business development. An Avid follower of the Lean start up methodology whose responsibility is to grow traction by engaging with potential advertisers while building useful partnerships with platforms. AbdulHakim Haliru is an Applications Developer with extensive experience designing, developing, and testing and supporting next generation enterprise systems. He has over seven (7) years experience in providing strategic services to multinational companies and Digital Agencies in Nigeria and across Africa. With a successful track record in delivering solutions for the Nigerian Port Authority and United Nations Development Programme in Nigeria, South Sudan and Swaziland. Proficient in an assortment of technologies, including Access, MS SQL Server, MySql ,Postgres, MS Project, Visio, PHP, VB.Net, C#, C++, XML, Jquery, Dojo, Cakephp, Zend, Joomla, Windows and Linux. He would be responsible for development and deployment of the analytics system for advertisers and publishers. Mahmood Oyewo, is Computer Science & Engineering graduate, a very brilliant Software developer who is well vast in the area of mobile application development. An Anzisha fellow with over 4 years experience in developing and managing technology systems. Worked at Interswitch, Nigeria's leading payment platform and was responsible for the development of the verve rewards platform; a system which rewards users for using the verve cards to make payment. He would be responsible for developing and managing the core reward based system API and SDK which the publishers would integrate to their platforms.
