Missed Practices: If you are unable to make a practice, you must contact your director at least 24 hours before.

Depth Chart Each team has a player depth chart. Now the players have the ability to ask the coach where they fall on the depth chart. This should give them notice that they need to work harder to climb up the depth chart which can be remade everyday.

PRACTICES Set Up / Break Down: Be at practice 15 Min before practice to set up the first drill and to connect with your assistant coaches. Make sure the area is cleaned and all players have been picked up. Organization: The program will provide practice plans. These plans are not to micro manage but to free your coaching talents. We want to stay uniform with our drills so our time is more efficient. Coaches have the freedom to alter the timing of the plans and add wrinkles to drills.

Things To Think about: When coaching during drills: Keep the coaching to 1 min max so the players can get back to the drill. If one coach takes that 1 minute, than save your coaching for another time.

TOURNAMENTS Coaches will be at the facility 1 HR before every game. Coaches MUST wear all Top Left gear: Polos for games – TL T-shirts for afterwards – Shoes – Jacket – Khakis. Prepare your warm-up and stretch: Be very quick and not in a tight space. Stay upbeat and positive during the game. Everyone plays as close to equal time as you can. Exceptions may include: behavior, missed practices or continuing to make the same mistakes that are hurting the team. Talk to the players after every game. Ask the players what they think went well or went wrong.

Off the Field During Tournaments: Coaches will treat the tournmaent weekends as a Buiness trip. Nothing we do off the field should put us at a lower percent for the kids. We are expected to be fresh and ready 1 HR before every game to coach at our highest ability. Email the parents after every tournament. Let them know your thoughts on what the team did well and what we need to work on. Let them know what the future practice plans look like. This does not need to be long.
