Fall 2014 Classes
PROGRAM
Our current program includes two semesters, Spring and Fall. Each semester is 15 weeks unless otherwise noted. Summer programs vary.
PHILOSOPHY
The Fine Arts School began in 1994 and is dedicated to providing the finest arts instruction with caring, nurturing teachers in a Christian environment.
REGISTRATION
Registration for class instruction is conducted prior to each semester. Deadline for Fall 2014 classes is September 1. A $20 deposit per student is required at the time of enrollment. This is nonrefudable and will be applied toward class fees. A completed enrollment form with deposit is necessary to reserve space in a particular class. Class tuition is payable by the semester, and may be made in installments. One third of all tuition and materials fees is due by first class day. Remaining two-thirds payments are due in equal amounts five weeks into the semester and ten weeks into the semester. Piano lesson tuition may be paid by the semester or monthly. Payment coupons with due dates are available to assist you. A $10 late fee will be assessed for late payment.

About the Fine Arts School
Art for Adults Art 101 For beginning students. Learn basic art principles and experience a variety of mediums in a non-threatening atmosphere! A 90-minute class. Tuesdays 10:30 - 12:00 p.m. 15 classes - $250* Room 218, Music and Fine Arts Wing Art 201 For students who have completed at least one year of Art 101, or new students with some art experience. A 90-minute class. Choose one: Mondays 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. or Wednesdays 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. 15 classes - $250* Room 218, Music and Fine Arts Wing ART for CHILDREN Kinderart For preschoolers and kindergartners ages 4-6. Welcome your child to color, textures, shapes and a variety of art experiences! Tuesdays 3:30 - 4:15 p.m. 15 classes - $165* Room 218, Music and Fine Arts Wing Art From A to Z 1st and 2nd grade and all day kindergartners. Learn basic art principles and some art history using a variety of materials. Mondays 4:00 - 4:45 p.m. or Wednesdays 4:00 - 4:45 p.m. (with sufficient enrollment)

Music immerses the child in language, evokes movement, stimulates the brain, fosters physical coordination, and develops listening skills. Music Makers at the Keyboard I from Musikgarten Curriculum – Ages 6-8 Beginning keyboard class uses singing, dancing, drumming and other activities to reinforce musical concepts at the keyboard. Emphasis on connecting listening skills to playing skills. Enrollment limit: 6 Tuesdays or Thursdays 4:00-5:00 p.m. 15 classes - $300 Room 219 (Fee includes $55 for keyboard book, CDs and games)
PIANO LESSONS
Individual Lessons Half-hour weekly lessons are given for all beginning students. 15 individual lessons and monthly group classes. $375 plus cost of music Room 224 Group Lessons 35 minute lesson for 2 students in a group and 40 minute lessons for 3 students in a group. Group lessons are available if 2 or 3 students who are close in age and skill level sign up in the same semester. 15 small group lessons and monthly large group classes. $200 plus cost of music Room 224
