VALENTINE’S DAY FUN We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Thursday, February 14th. This is a great time to remind the children how much Jesus loves us. You will have the opportunity to sign up in advance to bring snacks or party treats. Please remember that any food items to be shared with the class need to be commercially prepared, prepackaged ,and unopened foods. Your child’s teachers will give you details pertaining to individual classes.

FALL ENROLLMENT The time is now!! You should have received your enrollment packet on Thursday, January 17th. Please turn in your packet as soon as possible along with the $25.00 enrollment fee to hold your child’s place. Open Enrollment begins on Tuesday, Feb. 5th, and classes will begin to fill up. September Tuition of $220 for preschool and $230 for Kindergarteners is due by May 9th to guarantee placement for the fall. Feel free to call if you have any questions. You may enroll siblings at the same time as your child currently in the program, even if your older child is moving on to grade school. If your child is entering a three year old class, please be aware that he or she must be toilet trained. Any three year old that is not fully trained will be placed in our younger three’s class, but must be as close to fully trained as possible. If your child is not fully trained by July 15th, please let us know so that he/she will be placed in the appropriate class.

POP’S PLAY NIGHT Mark Dad’s calendar for Tuesday, February 26th, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm for our annual ABC Pop’s Play Night. This night is set aside for Dad to experience preschool or kindergarten with his child if the child is in 3’s through Kindergarten classes. Come dressed to play! If Dad is unavailable, your child may bring Grandpa, an uncle, or another important male in his or her life. Our goal is that each child will have one loving male person to share in the fun. (We will be happy to have Mom if no father-figure is available). Dad will be glad he came! There will be activities within your child’s classroom for Dad and child to do together. There will also be refreshments in the gym when they need a break from playing.

Sending love: Do you know many big kids don’t know how to mail a letter these days? Have your child create Valentines and teach them how to mail them using an envelope, stamp, and return address. We recommend sharing the love by sending them to a veteran, elderly neighbor, or nursing home! Proverbs 14:14 – “A friend loves at all times.”

****To make this night special for your preschool child, we encourage you to let siblings not currently in our program stay home with mom or another trusted person.

COLD AND FLU SEASON As always, we ask that you keep your child home from school if any of the following applies:

KINDERGARTEN AT ABC Like all ABC classes, our Kindergarten class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but with extended start and ending times of 9:15-2:45. It is a teacher/parent cooperative style program and homework is mandatory. We will provide the homework but it will require parental involvement. Enrollment will be on a first come, first serve basis.
