PICTURE DAY SIBLING SHOTS If you would like pictures of a sibling of your ABC student, please sign up on the preschool office door for a time between 9:00am and 9:30am on either Tuesday, Oct.10th or Thursday, Oct.12th. The time slots fill quickly, so make your way to the ABC office today to set a time. Your ABC child will be photographed during the school day. You only need to sign up if you are having another child photographed or if you want your children photographed together.

FALL HARVEST PARTIES On Tuesday October 31st, our classes will celebrate the beautiful Fall season that God has given us. There will be a sign-up sheet outside your child’s classroom to give you the opportunity to bring something to share. Please bring treats, decorations, etc., that celebrate Fall or the bountiful harvest time that God provides us. Simple, colorful fall items are welcome. Please DO NOT send anything with witches, ghosts, goblins, etc. Our focus is on the beauty and bounty of God’s provision during this time of year. Remember that food items must be commercially prepared and in their original, unopened packaging.

October 31st, 6:00 to 8:00 PM Join us for food, hay rides, inflatables, carnival games, Trunk or Treat, and more! We love to see everyone dressed up! If you like to dress up, come to the festival in a fun, friendly costume. Of course, we encourage you to come as anything that God created. (Nothing scary, please!) Spread the word! Invite the neighborhood! Fun for the whole community!

Fun ideas from our friends at BUILDING ALL CHILDREN Make learning fun by using a sharpie to write letters on ping-pong balls. Kids can learn the alphabet, spell their names, form simple words, and find letters you name. They can be rolled, thrown, bounced, caught, stored in egg cartons, and will even float in the tub. Playfully teach spelling and reading with ping-pong balls!

SUBSTITUTES NEEDED If you love Jesus, love children, and would like to make a little extra money, then consider being an ABC substitute teacher. Come by the ABC office for more information.

PICK UP REMINDER FALL WEATHER Weather in Oklahoma is unpredictable at best. Even though we have had unseasonably warm weather for a while, if you have lived here long, you have seen how fast the temperature can change in a few short hours. We ask that you send a jacket, coat, sweatshirt, or sweater with your child each day so that he/she will be able to enjoy playground time if the weather turns cold or windy. Whatever you bring, please make sure you label it clearly on the inside to help teachers get it back to the right child at the end of the day.

Please remember that we will only allow someone to pick up your student if they are listed on your official child information sheet in the ABC office. Writing someone down on the sign in sheet at the classroom door does not constitute proper authorization. You are welcome to come by the ABC office and add someone to your child’s list at any time. Also, remember if you have not already done so, please give us a password for identification purposes. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to call us. Your ABC Staff
