FAMILY LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES - January 2019 The Impact of Deaf-Blindness on Learning For information about the impact of deaf-blindness on learning, we encourage you to explore the Open Hands, Open Access (OHOA): Deaf-Blind Intervener Learning Modules. This national resource is designed to increase awareness, knowledge, and skills related to intervention for students (ages 3 through 21) who are deaf-blind. These modules are selfpaced and free, so you can enjoy them as time permits. The modules in the “Impact of Deaf-Blindness on Learning” section include: • • • • •
