DOES IT HURT WHEN YOU ARE SHOT? No, there are no physical projectiles.

WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE? ON TIME or 15mins before mission briefing.

WHAT SHOULD PARTICIPANTS WEAR ON THE DAY? We advise you bring sturdy footwear with good ankle support i.e. walking boots although old trainers are acceptable. Players should wear Dark comfortable flexible clothing that they don’t mind getting wet or possibly muddy. If any players have camouflage kit – Bring It!

DO YOU HAVE 1 AID TRAINED FACILITATORS ON SITE? Yes we do. We ensure that we will have a trained facilitator on site together with the 1st aid kit.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS? The minimum age to play is 7 years old. Call Laser Combat regarding younger children.

HOW LONG DOES THE EVENT LAST? Your event lasts for approx three hours. You will have 2 hours of live game play.

DO YOU HAVE TO WEAR ANY SAFETY EQUIPMENT? No, as the guns only fire harmless infrared beams there is no need for eye protection or padding associated with other forms of combat gaming.

DO PEOPLE CHEAT? The unique hit sensors prevent cheating. If your sensors receive a hit a life is lost, there is no way round it, you can’t cheat!

DO YOUR STAFF HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH CHILDREN? Yes, we believe in having fun but doing it safely. Our referees have various backgrounds from Outside Hours School Care workers to former Marines and of course some of them are Mums and Dads themselves!

ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN EXTRAS? No, you can enjoy a full 2 hours gaming of Battlefield Live, including unlimited lives and shots for the price quoted, there are no hidden extras.

HOW CAN YOU TELL WHEN SOMEBODY HAS BEEN HIT? There is a computerised system within every gun. When you’re shot, the gun will produce an “OUCH” sound and your sensors will blink. The display screen on the guns will also reflect 1 life lost. When hit a player will hear the OUCH sound effect and their gun hit points will be reduced by 1. The head sensors will also flash red to alert the player doing the shooting that they have been successful. When all hit points have been lost the gun will make an ARRRGGHHH sound effect, your display will read DEAD and the gun will deactivate. The head sensors will stay illuminated red, so other players know you are dead.

DO YOU HAVE TO SIT OUT WHEN YOU ARE DEAD AND WAIT FOR THE GAME TO FINISH? No, when you lose all your hit points and your gun deactivates simply return to base for a rapid reset and get straight back into the Game.

WILL OUR GAME BE CANCELLED DUE TO POOR WEATHER? The equipment can be used in virtually any type of weather, bright, dark, warm, cold, wet or dry. We would only cancel a game if the weather was severe enough to pose a risk of injury to participants. Alternative times and dates would then be offered.

IF I WANT TO EXTEND ANOTHER MISSION ON THE SPOT, CAN I DO THAT? Yes, this will be subject to availability for that day.

WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE? We accept – Cash, Master Card, VISA, Eftpos and Internet Banking.

WHY IS A LASER COMBAT MISSION SO EXPENSIVE? Our guns are realistic and are made of metal. We have a sophisticated computerised system within every guns and our concept is one that is designed to allow beginners to pick up fast while not forgetting the thrill which experienced players are hungry for. We have years of experience in operating Combat Simulation Games, what you are paying correlates to the quality of service and products that you will get. We play Battlefield LIVE all year round in all weather - even in snow. We can travel to any Auckland location. We specialise in team building skills and we inspire and energise people towards achieving realistic goals. LASER COMBAT [Battlefield LIVE] is a game that everyone can enjoy on an equal playing field whether you are new to combat simulation games or a regular player.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU CATER FOR AT ONE GO? We currently have 24 guns available for each mission; we can support events of all sizes on a rotation basis.

HOW MUCH DOES EXTRA AMMUNITION COST? Nothing! You receive unlimited ammunition. [FREE OF CHARGE]

WHEN ARE YOU OPEN FOR EVENTS? We are open all year round, weeknights and weekends.

HOW MANY PEOPLE DO WE NEED TO PLAY? Minimum of 8 players will be required to make a - Public Session - Booking For - Night Missions - you will need 10 players or more to book For - Mobile Deployment - you will need a minimum of 15 Players

IS THERE A DEPOSIT I NEED TO PAY? We ask that a $20 per head deposit is paid before you play to reserves a Gaming Gun. We accept deposit payments over the phone or online, via all major credit/debit cards also Internet banking is available - Book online or Call us Free on 0508 266 228

WHAT ARE THE GAMES LIKE? We have a variety of different game fields, and each has its own unique story, most games however last for 10-20 minutes and require a Team Objective to be completed under intense pressure. For more details of each individual game, please visit the – Missions Page -

CAN WE PLAY IN THE DARK - NIGHT OPS? Yes, we have Night Ops West Location: Swanson West Auckland Experience Laser Combat at Night, really push your senses to the limits, Younger children must be accompanied by an adult. Set within the grounds of Actions Paintball, 15+ fantastic gaming fields, become one Huge Battlefield, Located 15 minutes west from Auckland city Take the gate for Actions Paintball located on the corner of pooks O’Neill’s roads Drive all the way down the drive to the ‘Flashing Beacon’ Parking and Toilets Available - Week Nights Only.
