Praying In The Will Of God

1. The purpose of fasting and prayer is to bring our world in line with Godʼs will –– to introduce and interpose His rule over our will, flesh and any influence of evil. Fasting and prayer is not about trying to manipulate God to do our will. It is about bringing our world in line with His will. We should never exalt our will above Godʼs will. 2. There are certain things we know about Godʼs will that give us confidence when we pray. What is God's will? • Obedience to His Word. • Wisdom and guidance. • Favor. • Healing. • Order. • Reconciliation. • Salvation. • Consecration/sanctification. • Endurance.

3. Once God has shown us His will, we should not continue to question it. We should walk it out obediently and persistently. We should “stand strong in the will of God!”
