The Business Meeting normally scheduled for the second Sunday in the month will be held on May 20th. DEACON NOMINATIONS - The month of May is set aside for our church family to have the opportunity to nominate men for deacon election which will take place on the third Sunday morning in August (August 19th). Ballot forms are available at both Information Desks.

Mission Notes A group from our church will be going to Red Lodge, Montana to help the Church of the Rockies with some construction projects. The date of this mission effort is July 12-21. If you are interested in this mission/work effort please contact Phillip Butler or Mike Shumock. If any men are interested in going to Hattiesburg to install vinyl siding on the two mission houses that the Prairie Grove group built, please contact Phillip Butler.

Operation Christmas Child: For those who would like to help collect items for shoeboxes, we encourage you to try to look for items on sale throughout the year. These items may be donated to the church for volunteers to use in packing boxes or you may collect items for your own personal boxes that you will pack. Items may be dropped off at the Hub (Info desk). Things to look for are: small stuffed animals or other toys as a “wow” item, small boxes of baking soda, toothbrushes, soap, washcloths, school supply items, mittens,or gloves & socks.
