Ash Wednesday | March 1 | 7:30 – 8:00pm Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the time of year leading up to Easter Sunday that we call Lent. For many Christians throughout history Lent has been a season of introspection and fasting beginning on Ash Wednesday and continuing for 40 days (not including Sundays) until Easter Sunday, when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Join us as we start the Lent season with a time of worship and the receiving of ashes as a sign of repentance.

Stretching & Balance Class | Fellowship Hall Mondays at 4:00pm & Thursdays at 11:30am Safe & light exercises for adults 60 and over, led by a certified health instructor at no charge. Please contact Paty for any questions.

Women’s Bible Study | Wednesdays | 9:30am & 6:30pm | Event Center For women of all ages to connect with others for support, prayer, and growth in Jesus, and a time of worship. If you are exploring the Christian faith, or have been a believer for some time, you will enjoy our Bible study. Join us for a new study on Revelation. Childcare available by reservation. C.A.M.E.O. Cooking with Sue Reid | February 7 | Tuesday | 6:30pm C.A.M.E.O (Come and Meet Each Other) is a time for women of all ages and stages to come together to laugh, share and encourage one another. This month, Sue Reid will prepare a delicious family friendly Valentine Dinner. She will be sharing her cooking tips, recipes, and yummy food! $15 registration fee includes cooking demo, recipes, and dinner tasting. GUESTS ARE WELCOME! iMoms | February 17 | Friday | 9:30am For young moms and expectant mothers. Speakers present practical topics relating to family relationships, parenting, and homemaking from a Biblical perspective. Working Moms | February 15 | 6:30pm Have you always wanted to go to iMoms, but can’t because of your work schedule? Come to Working Moms! Children 3 years old through 5th grade are encouraged to participate in AWANA Clubs during this time. Children under age 3 must be pre-registered for childcare. Visit glenkirkchurch.org to register. Women’s Retreat | March 10 – 12 | Twin Peaks Conference Center We will only have a few spots available for this amazing, life-giving retreat, so gather your girlfriends and register online at glenkirkchurch.org. We encourage parents to make sure your child’s emergency contact information is always up to date, as well as their allergy card and any special needs your child may have. You can do so by contacting Kinsey to register any allergies or special needs, and always keep Glenkirk updated on phone number and address changes. Homebuilders | Sundays | 9:15am | Fellowship Hall For parents of children newborn through high school, to strengthen and build our families. This is a great place to meet other parents of young families in our church community. For questions, please contact Kinsey. AWANA Clubs | Wednesdays | 6:30 - 8:00pm A Bible-based youth program for kids 3 years old to 5th grade. Registration is open. For any questions, please contact Kinsey.

Sunday School: Full Children’s Programs | Sundays Children’s programs are available at all Sunday Services. All children’s ministry leaders submit to a background check and complete a leader volunteer application. Nursery Our loving volunteers are ready to care for your little ones while you attend church services or Sunday morning classes. In the event that a parent is needed, the last 3 digits of your child’s check-in number will flash on the Worship Center screen, or the parent’s cell phone will be called. Early Childhood Children 2 years old through preschool will enjoy an experience led by teams of adults and youth. Elementary Children begin church with their families in the Worship Center and are then invited to Room 9 and Room 15 for an engaging large-group time of music, skits, and multimedia, followed by a relational small-group time where children talk about life application of the lesson.

ENGAGE - STUDENT MINISTRIES (Dusty Sanderson) Follow us on Instagram! @GkMiddleSchool and @GkHighSchool ENGAGE Sunday Program | 9:15 – 10:00am Students in 6th-12th grade are encouraged to worship with the congregation before heading to room 15 for small group Bible study. High School Confirmation Class | Sundays | February 26 – March 26 | 4:00 – 6:00pm | Room 21 Join us as we discuss major topics of the Christian faith designed to grow our students in Christ and continue to equip them for life in the church. ENGAGE Mid Week Gathering | 6:30 – 8:00pm Middle School & High School youth group will meet on Wednesday nights to join in fellowship with other students. You can meet us in the Event Center or join us at The Lot (west parking lot on Sellers St.). Please contact Kinsey if you have any questions. High School Winter Retreat | March 17 – 19 High Schoolers are taking off for a weekend at a Big Bear cabin to get away from our fast paced lives and focus on becoming closer to Christ. If you are a high schooler who is interest in attending, please contact Kinsey.

C A RE & SUPP ORT MINIS TRIES (Paty Moeller) Glenkirk Cares If you are able to help with transportation or meals for an individual with cancer or the family of an individual with cancer, please contact Paty. Glenkirk Cares seeks to help the patient, as well as their family while building relationships, sharing the gospel and providing compassionate support. Compassionate Care We seek to meet the physical, emotional, and mental needs of people as a way of sharing Christ’s love. If you or someone you know is in need of Compassionate Care, please contact Howard Briggs at 626-241-6513. Lay Counseling Counseling is available when life gets tough or in times of crisis. Lay Counselors are trained and supervised. Premarital counseling is also available. For information, please contact Paty. GriefShare New Workshop | February 7 – May 2 | Tuesdays | 7:00pm | Room 11 This is a support group that meets weekly. You’ll find it to be a warm, caring environment and you’ll come to see your group as an “oasis” on your journey through grief. If you have any questions, please contact Paty. Deacons Our deacons are available to help with financial assistance or meals during a time of illness/ hospitalization. Please email Paty.

LOC A L & GLOBA L MISSIONS (Bonni Carr) Books for India Glenkirk continues to collect used Christian books, Bibles and educational material for Glad Tidings India.
