Committee News LEADERSHIP GREATER ROCHESTER—ARTS & CULTURE DAY

Leadership Greater Rochester held a very informative "Arts & Culture Day" earlier this month to educate class participants about the economic and social impact of the arts in Rochester and New Hampshire. Hosted by the Rochester Performance & Arts Center in Rochester, class participants were able to meet and have discussions with Ginnie Lupi-Director of the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts, Anthony Ejarque-Executive Director of the Rochester Opera House, Amy Regan-co-founder of the Rochester Museum of Fine Arts, Liz Tonkins-Agea-President of the Granite State Choral Society, Rebecca Romanoski-Program Director for Arts In Reach (AIR) and local artist Renda Littlefield. Refreshments were generously provided by The Governors Inn Hotel & Restaurant. Following the session, class members were provided with a tour of the Rochester Performance & Arts Center and the Rochester Opera House. All were encouraged to visit some of many cultural venues or attend a performance in the area. Leadership Greater Rochester is underwritten by Frisbie Memorial Hospital and co-sponsored by the City of Rochester and Eversource.
