Welcome to Sunday Morning Worship at Sun City Nazarene. As is the custom here on the first Sunday of each month, we’ll share in the Sacrament of Communion, an expression of our faith in, and our obedience to, Christ Jesus, our Lord….. While they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take and eat. This is my body.” He took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from this, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many so that their sins may be forgiven. WOMEN’S MINISTRY SPRING LUNCHEON is Friday, February 10 at 11:30 AM. Tickets are on sale in the foyer. The theme is, “Oh, Taste & See That the Lord is Good.” Mardell Knowles and Elaine Webster will share their testimonies and Steve Kinworthy (son-in-law of Eva Faust) will provide the special music. Plan now to attend and bring a friend. If a scholarship is needed, please see Judy Rollins at the ticket table.
Friday Ganda will be speaking at our Wednesday evening service. Friday and Mary Ganda are assigned to the West Africa Field with the Church of the Nazarene. Prior to this assignment they served on the East Africa field and in the Horn of Africa as a pastor, district superintendent, mission coordinator and Jesus Film Coordinator. The vision of Friday and Mary is to reach the unreached, nurture them, identify and train leaders and deploy.
