Fellowship Guatemala Internship Program Dates: Any 4 to 6 week period during June, July and/or August Goals: Our goal is for interns to build meaningful relationships with each other, with the people to whom they will minister to in order to impact their own walks with the Lord and to help grow the local church.

Who May Apply? Anyone aged 16 – 25 who is interested in serving and growing in the Lord while working toward the above goal in Guatemala for an extended time this summer.

What Will We Do? 1. Personal Growth – Interns are expected to spend at least 30 minutes each day in personal prayer and Bible study. Interns are encouraged to spend time in prayer together each day and will be expected to participate in devotions with mission teams when appropriate. 2. Outreach Ministry – Possible ministry opportunities will include accompanying and assisting mission teams in various ministries, including home visitation and Vacation Bible schools; and Compassion Center children. Interns will be encouraged to take initiative to get involved in other ministries in which they are gifted or interested, for example: church worship team, teaching Sunday school, leading discipleship groups or Bible studies, youth group leadership team, etc. We ask that applicants be open to whatever ministry the Lord calls them to while in Guatemala. 3. Recreation – Some days will be “all work” and others will be more relaxed. We will try to set aside time each day for a variety of activities.

What is the Cost? Each intern must raise $100 US for each week he/she will be in Guatemala to cover the cost of housing, 3 meals a day, all internal ministry transportation, and ministry supervision. Each intern is responsible for buying his/her own airline ticket to Guatemala. Interns should also come with enough spending money to buy whatever snacks and souvenirs they desire. Checks for the cost of the internship should be made out to Fellowship Bible Church. If you are raising funds, you can tell donors that their contributions are tax-deductible. Fellowship Bible

Church will send the funds to us 2 weeks in advance of your trip, so please be sure all funds are sent to Fellowship prior to that time.
