MISSION: To share God’s love through fellowship events. To connect with one another, celebrate with food, have fun, and fellowship together. ACTIVITIES AND CONTACTS:
Annual church picnic the 3rd Sunday of September at German Park Holiday Cookie Exchange – Bake cookies to exchange with other bakers and take home a variety of Christmas cookies Receptions and various activities Funeral meals - People are contacted via email or phone and given an opportunity to bring food to Calvary for a dinner for family and friends after the funeral service. Helping Hands – A Fellowship Ministry subcommittee to provide assistance at events with food donations, setup, serving, and/or cleanup.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Church picnic volunteers are needed to assist with set-up, greeters, parking, dessert station, drink station, game station (PS – 4th grade), and clean-up. “Helping Hands” subcommittee - Supply food donations and help with set-up, serving, and/or clean-up for events as requested by the Fellowship Ministry as your schedule allows. Funeral meals are coordinated through Gloria Vandivier at 317-727-8152 or
[email protected]. You respond to an email to indicate if you’re able to provide an item for the meal and take it to Calvary by the designated time. Volunteers are also needed to assist with set-up, serving, and/or clean-up the day of the funeral.
