Fergus Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau Photo Contest for 2015 Promotions The Fergus Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) publishes guides, web sites and other promotional materials that help bring people to our area for vacations and business. Please help us depict the beauty and opportunity of Fergus Falls by submitting photographs we can use in our promotions. Many of them will be included in our materials (web sites, ads, etc.).
Rules
1. The contest is open to anyone except employees of the Fergus Falls CVB, its board of directors, its advertising agency or family members of the above. 2. Digital images are required. Submit a CD or flash drive and please also submit 4x6 prints – they don’t need to be on photo paper. 3. Each entry should be labeled with the photographers name and year photo was taken. Each photographer’s work must be accompanied by a completed and signed entry blank. Entrants under the age of 18 must have a parent’s signature. 4. All photographs must be taken in Fergus Falls or Otter Tail County. 5. Do not digitally alter photographs (other than cropping). 6. Do not submit material that was shot prior to 2010. 7. Each photographer is limited to ten entries. Materials will not be returned (if you would like them back, please indicate that and we’ll notify you when they are ready). 8. Photographers agree that they have obtained permission from subjects in their photos to have material submitted for this contest and used for future CVB promotional purposes. 9. The Fergus Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau will have unlimited but not exclusive use of all photographs submitted for the current year and all future promotions. 10. The Fergus Falls CVB is not responsible for damaged or lost photographic materials submitted for the contest. However, every effort will be made to protect materials. 11. All entries must be sent or delivered with a completed entry (attached page).
Entries are due on or before Friday, October 10 Winners will be announced by October 24. Prizes $100.00 for the Best Overall Photograph $50.00 each for 5 honorable mentions
