How much do they earn? How does your pay measure up to others in your sector and your region? WVP Monthly has the data. Earnings for full time employees in the UK are recorded by the Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE). The best figure to look for is the median rate (the mid-point where half employees are above and half are below). You can see the median weekly pay for occupations in your sector in the table below.

How much do they earn – Regions? You can see also the median weekly pay for all sectors by UK government region in the following table. So, if you are getting less than the median it might be time to let your employer know you’re due a pay rise. If you’re already getting more, keep going in the right direction by keeping the union strong in your workplace.
