Mr. Garrett was a member of Maxwell Baptist Church of Belvidere and was a Mason. He enjoyed training horses, horseback riding, trail riding, and camping with his horses. He was known as a “Horse Whisperer”. He enjoyed hunting bargains and making deals. He also enjoyed planting a garden. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by son, Robert T. Garrett, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Shelley Robinette Garrett of Wartrace; mother, Wanda Jean Walker Garrett of Belvidere; son, Glen Garrett and wife, Kathy of Decherd; daughter, Teresa Fortner and husband, Steven of Drummonds, TN; brother, Terry Garrett of Taft, TN; sisters, Donna Weaver North of Shelbyville, Bobbie Jean Garrett Riel and husband, Richard of Winchester and Karen Gardner of Coldwater, TN; grandchildren, Paige Michelle Garrett Henshaw, Rebecca Hope Garrett, Alexis Jade Garrett, Mitchell Blake Garrett, Tyler Frizzell, Noah Brown, and Ethan Fortner; and several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. She was added to the Lord’s body at Elm Street Church of Christ at an early age and remained active and faithful until her health failed. She was a former employee of Wilson Sporting Goods of Tullahoma. She loved her family and her church, enjoyed reading and gardening, and sitting on her porch. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Harden was preceded in death by sons, William Henry and Bobby Jo Harden; daughter-in-law, Hallie Ruth Harden; grandson, Vince Harden; brothers, Robert (Bub), Albert, Joseph, and Gus Ingle, Jr.; and sisters, Maggie Dinah Phelps, Nellie Mae Harden, and Beatrice Sebastian. She leaves to cherish her memory a very devoted niece and nephew and caregivers, Vickie and Steve Emmons; their children, Jovaun March and Jazmyne Emmons; granddaughter, Rochelle Harden; great granddaughter, Jimerea (Matt) Koch; ten nieces; three nephews; sister-in-law, Mrs. Pearl Bailey; and a host of other beloved family and friends. Mr. Warren passed away March 9, 2019 at McArthur Manor, Manchester, TN. Jackie Fredrick Warren was born on November 24, 1943 in Tullahoma, TN. A graduate of THS and MTSU, Jackie worked in the Caribbean Islands and Central America. The remainder of his working life was spent in the music business in Nashville. Jackie spent his retirement years living on his farm in Beech Grove, TN and in Tullahoma. Jackie loved traveling, scuba diving, most all sports, and riding his horse. He was an avid coin collector, rugby player, and animal lover. Jackie will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret B. Warren; and sister, Nancy Hardaway. Survivors include his brothers, Bobby (Louise) Warren, Wayne (Laura) Warren, and Eddie (Sherry) Warren; sister, Becky (Jim) Wills; cousin, Bob Brinkley, numerous other cousins; two aunts; eight nephews; two nieces; five great nephews; and two great nieces.
