She devoted her time to volunteer work with her children's schools and activities. She was a member of several bowling teams and served on committees with Welcome Wagon clubs. After caring for her dying mother, Mrs. Hastings began a second career as office manager and travel agent for "Travel First" in Tullahoma. In the latter part of her life, Mrs. Hastings was a devoted grandmother and great grandmother known as "Nanny". In addition to her parents and husband, Bill R.
