First Year in Engineering Duration: 2 semesters

The department of Engineering and Built Environment at Anglia Ruskin offers a range of courses which are highly valued by industry and practice. Course content is current due to the university's close links with employers and professional bodies and by their highly experienced academic staff. You will gain an understanding of how applied chemical states and reactions contribute to the engineering process and are used to solve engineering problems. You will also consider how economic and technological developments affect the built environment, as well as learning how to apply mathematical techniques to engineering decision-making This course has been designed for students who would wish to study one of the following Anglia Ruskin University degree courses: 

BSc (Hons) Building Surveying Location: Chelmsford (stages 2, 3 & 4)



BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering Location: Chelmsford (stages 2, 3 & 4)



BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering Location: Chelmsford (stages 2, 3 & 4)



BSc (Hons) Construction Management Location: Chelmsford (stages 2, 3 & 4)



BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering Location: Chelmsford (stages 2, 3 & 4)



BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying Location: Chelmsford (stages 2, 3 & 4)



BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering Location: Cambridge (stages 2, 3 & 4) On completion of 1st year (Stage 2) you will progress to 2nd year of your chosen course.
