.” When going to a “holistic” expo, it simply relates to the whole mind, body & spirit connection. By attending a Holistic Expo, you will be pleasantly surprised at the wide variety of exhibitors that are presenting their services, products and information. Many expos offer free lectures where everyone is invited to learn about the presenter’s topic. Questions are always encouraged by all exhibitors who are eager to share their information. It is a great time to learn, explore and sample services and products you may be interested in. We are very lucky to live in an area that has a number of fantastic expos. This includes the Inner

The prescription can be compounded from raw herbs in the correct proportions, selecting the herbs to treat your specific problem. While this ancient method is very personalized, it requires involvement and effort on the patient’s part. The raw herbs will need to be washed thoroughly at home, then cooked into a tea, sometimes more than once a day and drunk as directed. In our busy society many find this challenging because with their busy schedules it is all they can do to get dinner on the table! Also the taste of the tea is very foreign to Americans, and in my experience many have trouble getting it down. In modern times other presentations containing the same herbs are available for convenience including liquid extracts, pills, capsules and powders. While purists may insist that the traditional tea is superior, I believe that whatever leads to patient compliance is the way to go.
