Football—Be ready to compete for a roster spot on the Fall 2017 teams; 2nd &3rd(one team), 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams. Teams play at a select level, making try outs necessary. Cheer—All cheer athletes 2nd -8th grades (Fall 2017 school year) will need to register on this day to be on the Jr. Hornets Cheer team. There are no tryouts...everyone makes the team! Last year proved to be an exciting season for all involved. Don’t miss this chance to cheer for the Jr. Hornets!

The Fine Print: The Enumclaw Jr. Hornets program is the exclusive junior football/cheer club and Enumclaw High School Feeder Program in Enumclaw. It is a tackle football program which allows youths to progress with their experience through their grade levels. Teams play at a select level, thus requiring evaluations of players’ abilities for safety reasons. The Jr. Hornets franchise competes with the Narrows Youth Football League (nyfl.org). Away games are played as far away as the Tacoma area. About five home games are played at Pete’s Pool Stadium (Enumclaw Expo Center). The highest level of football equipment and safety precautions are used in this program. Football registration and equipment purchases will be due when Equipment Fitting/ordering takes place. Football Registration is $185. This includes the mini-camp, mini camp T-shirt, BBQ, and league fees. Players/Cheerleaders own their own equipment, allowing return player savings. Cheer registration is $185 to be paid at uniform fitting. If football/cheer equipment still fits, only registration will be due. The Jr. Hornets season begins Monday, July 24th and goes thru October. Weekday practices for football and cheer will occur 6-8 p.m. 4 days/week in the summer (M-T-W-Th) and 3 days/week during the school year (T-W-Th). Practices will be held at Thunder Mt Middle School.
