“Over the Edge for Community Hospice” is an exhilarating event in which “edgers” commit to a fundraising minimum in exchange for the opportunity of a lifetime – to rappel down the historic Medico-Dental Tower, overlooking the Stockton waterfront. We invite you to become a member of the 2017 sponsorship team to help us raise funds to support end-of-life care for patients and families in the greater Stockton area. About Community Hospice Founded in 1979 in a church basement by two volunteer registered nurses, Community Hospice has grown to meet the needs of the Central Valley becoming the oldest and largest nonprofit community based hospice agency in the San Joaquin Valley. Our mission is to provide compassionate and quality care, education and support to patients and families, regardless of ability to pay. We believe everyone in our community has the right to walk their life’s journey with dignity and peace. About Over The Edge Over The Edge is a special events company that provides signature events for non-profit organizations around the world. Business leaders, individuals and community members are invited to raise donations in exchange for the experience of going over the edge of a prominent building. This unique event generates front page news, raises thousands of dollars and provides participants with a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Over The Edge is responsible for all technical aspects of the event including the insurance, professional staff and rappelling equipment. In addition, OTE provides a comprehensive Fundraising Manual to conduct a successful fund raising event. Our mission is to create a legacy with a 10 year goal to help non-profit organizations throughout North America raise $50 million dollars.
