There is something inspiring and sublime about the little forget-me-not flower. It does not attract immediate attention, it is easy to overlook among large and more vibrant flowers, yet it is just as beautiful with it’s rich color that mirrors that of the bluest skies. Using this flower as a metaphor, the five petals of the flower prompt us to consider five things that it would be wise never to forget. 1. Be patient with yourself. 2. Some sacrifices are better than others. 3. Be happy now. 4. The ‘why’ of the gospel. 5. The Lord loves you. May the forget-me-not flower become a symbol of the little things that make your life joyful and sweet. You are never forgotten. Heavenly Father knows, loves, and cherishes you. President Dieter F.
