HARVEY NICHOLS EDINBURGH Set on a gracious square in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town and just a short walk to the famous Princes Street, the Scott Monument and Edinburgh Castle, Harvey Nichols, is Edinburgh’s ultimate shopping destination, with five glamorous floors featuring all that’s truly fabulous in fashion, beauty and dining. Since opening in August 2002, Harvey Nichols Edinburgh, the first purpose built store in the UK regional group, has set the precedent for luxury retailing within Scotland and the north of England offering customers not only exceptional customer service and an outstanding array of designer brands, but also offers a fine dining experience on the top floor, “The Forth Floor”, named after the Firth of Forth. Harvey Nichols Forth Floor Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie has 32 metres of floor to ceiling windows and a wrap around terrace offering panoramic views of Edinburgh’s historic skyline from the castle to the Firth of Forth. Here too you’ll find the Foodmarket, stocked with Harvey Nichols iconic own-brand food, a mouth-watering selection of fresh organic produce and an impressive array of fine wines and malt whiskies.
Levels one, two and three are devoted to women’s and men’s fashion featuring, all of the top designers latest collections and brands straight from the catwalks of Paris, Milan, New York and London, many of which are exclusive to Harvey Nichols in Scotland. You can enjoy a Personal Shopping experience and relax in a luxurious private shopping suite with its very own facilities or indulge in one of our many spa treatments available in the privacy of our beauty rooms and medical beauty spa, Beyond MediSpa. On the ground floor, the Accessories department features the must have handbags and jewellery of the season and the Perfumery department stocks some of the most exclusive new brands of skin care, make-up and fragrance in the country.

FORTH FLOOR RESTAURANT, BAR & BRASSERIE The Forth Floor Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie offer the best in contemporary eating and drinking in Edinburgh’s most stunning modern dining room. The restaurant offers an intimate fine dining experience with luxurious leather booths surrounded by a shimmering crystal curtain. Executive Chef Stuart Muir uses fresh seasonal Scottish produce to create dishes that match modern flavours with classical techniques. A selection of fresh, sustainable seafood is always available on the menu, including Stuart’s famous “Seared Scallops” Alongside fine dining in the Forth Floor Restaurant, Stuart also oversees the relaxed style of dining in the Brasserie, which offers round the clock eating from 10am-10pm (Tuesday through Saturday). From a stylish breakfast through a full a-la-carte lunch to a serious supper, the Brasserie is flexible, casual and welcoming.
You can enjoy alfresco dining on the terrace of the Restaurant and Brasserie during the summer months whilst taking in the panoramic views. The Forth Floor Window Bar also features a stunning picture window with incredible views of the North of Edinburgh, Forth Estuary and Kingdom of Fife. Subtle lighting and chilled out music makes for one of the best drinking scenes in Edinburgh city centre. Stuart’s achievements include a Michelin Star and 3 AA rosettes which he won at the age of 22, earning him the accolade of the youngest chef to win this prestigious award in Scotland. After travelling the globe and working with some of the world’s top chefs gaining a wealth of experience, Stuart returned to Scotland to further his career and reputation for producing consistently excellent dishes created from the very best and personally sourced Scottish produce.
