OPTION 1 - PLACE THE BACK OF THE CHANNEL BEHIND THE SHEET AND WORK ALONG LENGTH OF CHANNEL TO PUSH THE SHEETING RIBS INSIDE THE FRONT OF THE CHANNEL WORK YOUR WAY ALONG THE LENGTH OF THE CHANNEL, FOCUSING ON FITTING 2-3 SHEETING RIBS AT A TIME

OPTION 2 - SLIDING THE CHANNEL ONTOTHE SNAPTITE LUGS IS A USEFUL ALTERNATIVE FOR SHORTER CHANNELS THIS HOWEVER IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ‘SPLICED’ CHANNELS DUE TO THE CHANNEL JOINER GETTING CAUGHT ON THE RIBS AND JOINS OF THE SHEETS

PUSH THE CHANNEL OVER THE SNAPTITE LUGS UNTIL THE CHANNEL ‘SNAPS’ ONTO THE SHEET ENSURE THAT ALL SNAPTITE LUGS ARE FITTED INTO THE CHANNEL BEFORE PROCEEDING ANY FURTHER WITH ASSEMBLY *IN MANY CASES, THE CHANNEL IS STILL ABLE TO SLIDE ACROSS THE END OF THE SHEET, SO BE SURE TO CENTRE THE CHANNEL ON THE SHEET/S BEFORE PROCEEDING FURTHER **ENSURE THAT ANY ‘EDGE HOLES’ ARE ORIENTATED TO THE ENDS OF EACH SHEET ASSEMBLY PRIOR TO SCREWING SHEETS TOGETHER YOU MAY OBSERVE UP TO A 3MM DIFFERENCE IN THE ENDS OF THE SHEETS ONCE HOLES ARE ALIGNED THIS TYPICALLY WONT PREVENT THE SUCCESSFUL ASSEMBLY OF THE SHED, HOWEVER IF THE DIFFERENCE IS ANY GREATER, YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF CONTACTING YOUR RESELLER FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS, OR RE-DRILLING THE HOLES IN THE SHEETS TO CREATE A BETTER ALIGNMENT ***VERTICAL CHANNELS ON ABSCO SHED DOORS ARE AN EXCEPTION, WHERE THE LONG EDGE OF THE CHANNEL FACES THE FRONT, AND THE SHORT EDGE FACES THE BACK

STEP TWO: Spliced Channel Assembly CHANNELS OVER 2.1m LONG HAVE BEEN CUT IN HALF TO ALLOW THEM TO FIT INTO THE PACKAGING ASSEMBLY OF THESE CHANNELS IS BEST COMPLETED IMMEDIATELY AFTER CHECKING OFF THE PARTS CHECKLIST *SPLICED CHANNELS FEATURE PRINTED PART NUMBERS AND ARROWS INDICATING THE ‘JOIN END’ OF EACH PIECE **ARRANGE ALL OF YOUR SPLICED CHANNELS IN MATCHING PAIRS PRIOR TO COMMENCING THE ASSEMBLY PROCESS BELOW ***SPLICED CHANNELS FEATURE PAIRS OF PRE-PUNCHED HOLES IN THE ‘JOIN END’ OF EACH CHANNEL AVOID FITTING FASTENERS INTO THESE UNTIL THE FINAL STAGE OF EACH PANEL ASSEMBLY, AS DOING SO PRIOR TO THIS MAY INHIBIT THE FITMENT OF OTHER COMPONENTS***

STEP THREE: Spliced Ridge Beam Assembly RIDGE BEAMS OVER 2.1m HAVE BEEN CUT INTO SECTIONS TO ALLOW THEM TO FIT INTO THE PACKAGING THE ASSEMBLY OF SPLICED RIDGE BEAMS IS BEST COMPLETED PRIOR TO ERECTING THE WALLS OF YOUR SHED ASSEMBLY OF SPLICED RIDGE BEAMS IS BEST COMPLETED ON A LONG FLAT SURFACE THE USE OF SPACERS IS ALSO RECOMMENDED TO ACHIEVE A STRAIGHT AND SECURE ASSEMBLY SPLICED RIDGE BEAMS ARE ASSEMBLED BY; 1) SLIDING THE ‘JOIN ENDS’* OF EACH PIECE TOGETHER 2) FITTING AND FASTENING THE ‘ZARSP’ RIDGE BEAM JOINER TO THE CENTRE OF THE JOIN *THE ‘JOIN END’ OF SPLICED RIDGE BEAMS FEATURES A SECTION OF ‘CAPPING’ OVERLAPPING THE RIDGE BEAM HAT SECTION

FLIP THE SPLICED RIDGE BEAMS UPSIDE DOWN SO THAT THE ‘CAPPING’ IS FACING DOWN, AND THE ‘HAT SECTION’ IS FACING UP

OVERLAP THE ‘CAPPING’ SLIDE THE ‘CAPPING’ ON ONE PIECE IN BETWEEN THE ‘CAPPING’ AND ‘HAT SECTION’ ON THE OTHER PIECE TO BUTT THE ‘HAT SECTIONS’ DIRECTLY TOGETHER

CHECK THE OVERALL LENGTH OF THE JOINED HAT SECTIONS = 2253mm LONG

POSITION THE ‘ZARSP’ RIDGE BEAM JOINER ON THE CENTRE OF THE JOIN BETWEEN THE TWO ‘HAT SECTIONS’

CAREFULLY FLIP THE ASSEMBLY BACK OVER ONTO THE ‘HAT SECTION’ AND ‘ZARSP’

INSERT 8x FAST014 SCREWS TO SECURE THE ZARSP TO BOTH SECTIONS OF THE SPLICED RIDGE BEAM

PRESS ‘ZARSP’ FIRMLY DOWN INTO THE ‘HAT SECTIONS’ USING A MALLET TO GENTLY TAP INTO PLACE IF NECESSARY

THE CENTRE OF THE ASSEMBLY WILL BE SLIGHTLY PROPPED UP DUE TO THE ‘ZARSP’ - USE SPACERS TO PROP UP THE ENDS

THESE SCREWS ARE TO BE EVENLY SPACED ALONG THE LENGTH OF THE ZARSP AT 60mm OR 2-3/8" CENTRES

STEP FOUR: Roof Panel Construction (2 Required) USE A SET OF TRESTLES OR SAWHORSES TO CREATE AN ELEVATED WORK SURFACE SCREW SHEETS TOGETHER FIRST, BEFORE FITTING SNAPTiTE CHANNELS CHECK THE ORIENTATION OF ALL SHEETS PRIOR TO FASTENING TOGETHER - ALL PAN HOLES ARE TO BE ON THE SAME END OF THE PANEL ASSEMBLY LAY OUT SHEETS AS ILLUSTRATED, OVERLAPPING EACH BY ONE ‘RIB’ FIT FAST001 SCREWS THROUGH THE PRE-PUNCHED HOLES AS ILLUSTRATED

FIT THE SNAPTiTE CHANNELS ILLUSTRATED ONTO THE ENDS OF THE SHEETING PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO WHICH SNAPTiTE CHANNEL IS FITTED TO THE END WITH PAN HOLES

FIT THE ROOF PANEL LIP TRIMS USING THE FAST001 SCREWS AS ILLUSTRATED FLIP THE ENTIRE PANEL ASSEMBLY OVER AND FIT FAST001 SCREWS INTO THE SPLICE JOIN HOLES ON THE 81C CHANNEL ONLY THE 78B CHANNEL SLIDES INTO THE RIDGE BEAM REPEAT THE PROCESSES ABOVE FOR THE 2ND ROOF PANEL

STEP FIVE: Rear Wall Construction USE A SET OF TRESTLES OR SAWHORSES TO CREATE AN ELEVATED WORK SURFACE SCREW SHEETS TOGETHER FIRST, BEFORE FITTING SNAPTiTE CHANNELS CHECK THE ORIENTATION OF THE SHEETS BY CONFIRMING EDGE HOLES ON BOTH SIDES OF THE OVERALL SHEET ASSEMBLY LAY OUT SHEETS AS ILLUSTRATED, OVERLAPPING EACH BY ONE ‘RIB’ FIT FAST001 SCREWS THROUGH THE PRE-PUNCHED HOLES AS ILLUSTRATED

FIT THE SNAPTiTE CHANNELS ILLUSTRATED ONTO THE ENDS OF THE SHEETING

FIT FAST001 SCREWS INTO THE SPLICE JOIN HOLES FLIP THE ENTIRE PANEL ASSEMBLY OVER AND FIT FAST001 SCREWS INTO THE SPLICE JOIN HOLES ON THE 81B ONLY TIP: STAND THIS PANEL UP SO THAT THE 77B SNAPTiTE CHANNEL IS ON THE TOP OF THIS PANEL THIS IS THE ORIENTATION OF THIS PANEL ON THE FINAL ASSEMBLY
