Is the summer ever going to arrive? One minute it’s sunny and the next minute it is not! Please can you make sure that your child has sun cream on for school and if they would like to wear a sun cap outside they can. We have Discovery Academy caps on sale at the office or they can wear a plain blue cap of their own. Can I also remind everyone that the Academy does have a strict policy on socks and hair accessories. Socks should be plain and blue, black, white or grey. Hair accessories should not have bows, glitter or embellishments on.

After running for almost two years, the PTFA are looking to restructure and for new recruits. We will be holding two meetings to discuss the PTFA, the roles that are available for people to apply for and also how parents can be active members of the PTFA without taking on a specific role. These meetings will be held on Friday 18th May 9:30 am and Wednesday 23rd May 6pm.
