This year we proudly support and raise money for Children’s Hunger Alliance and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
Children’s Hunger Alliance is known for “feeding hungry minds and bodies”.
The agency’s mission is to ensure all children are fed regular and nutritious meals and develop lifelong healthy eating habits. This is achieved in all 88 Ohio counties thru: • Directly feeding children nutritious meals in child care homes and after school programs • Increasing easy access to nutritious food in schools and summer feeding locations • Educating children to make healthy food choices and engage in physical activity to reduce the incidence of obesity and promote lifelong health
Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank has one mission:
Feeding people in need and mobilizing our community to eliminate hunger; and they are guided by these commitments: • Nutrition Quality • Food Safety • Sustainability • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Our Mission: To provide for the care and education of our youth. To date, we have awarded nine scholarships through our Continental Building Systems Scholarship Fund that is administered by The Columbus Foundation. Students from Central Ohio, the Greater Pittsburgh area and Northeast Ohio (Cleveland) are given the opportunity to apply.
