Southwestern Turkey Burgers 1 jalapeño chili pepper, minced (ribs and seeds removed for less heat) 1 ½ lbs. (681 g) ground turkey ½ cup grated Monterey Jack cheese ¼ cup plain dried breadcrumbs ¼ cup Sunset Gourmet’s Smoky Sweet Grilling Sauce 1 Tbsp. Southwest Gourmet Seasoning 1 Tbsp. Oh! So Onion 1 tsp. Sunset Seasoned Salt Combine all ingredients into a large bowl including the minced jalapeño chili pepper and mix together. Divide mixture into 6 equal portions, shaping each into a ½” thick patty. Place into a large freezer bag, using small sheets of waxed paper to keep each burger separate. Seal bag, secure Cooking instructions and freeze. Cooking Instructions: Thaw in fridge overnight. Turn grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate. Grill the burgers until cooked through, approximately 6 minutes per side. Top each with a slice of cheese (if desired); close grill lid and cook until melted, about 1 more minute. Serve burgers on buns with desired toppings including extra Sunset Gourmet’s Smoky Sweet Grilling Sauce.
