1. One gingerbread house per participant/groups. Entries must be solely constructed by the individual entering, however supervision is encouraged for youth participants when operating oven or stove top. 2. Group registrations are allowed, however one prize will be awarded to the designated team captain. 3. Gingerbread Kits ARE accepted from children under 1 7 and will be judged in a separate category. 4. All Gingerbread houses must be placed on a base board, not exceeding 24"x24". 5. Everything above the base of your entry must be constructed and composed entirely of edible materials. The main structure of your entry must be composed of at least 75% gingerbread, some of which should be exposed. 6. A list of materials used to create your Gingerbread House along with a title and brief description should be submitted with your entry. 7. Upon receipt of your Entry Form, you will be assigned a number which you should affix to the base of your Gingerbread House, front right corner along with the title/description of your submission. 8. Entries should be delivered to the Burwell School on Wednesday, November 28 t h between 11 AM and 3:30 PM. All entries must be picked up Sunday, December 23 r d . Alternate arrangements may be considered by Site Manager at Burwell, please contact Ronda @ (919) 732-7451 for consideration. 9. Entries will be displayed Wed-Sat 11-4 and Sundays 1-4, Thursday, November 29th through Saturday, December 22nd. 10. Winners will be selected by a judge, and by “Peoples Choice”. Winners will be announced on hillsboroughchamber.com and social media Friday, Dec. 21 st .
