Dear Parents & Guardians, We are excited about the many steps each of your girls have been and will be taking during her participation in Girls on the Run. We hope your daughter will join 616 other participants from across WNC to accomplish their 3.1 mile goal together! The following is information you will need to prepare for the big day.

9:00am: Registration Opens & Festivities Begin
Location
The event will be held at the ASHEVILLE OUTLETS (800 Brevard Rd, Asheville, NC 28806). Registration and team assembly will be located in the back parking lot (on the I-26 side of the outlets). The 5k course will be on outlet property and closed roads through the Ridgefield Business Park. No Smoking. No Pets. Jogging strollers welcome.

10:00am: 5k starts
Running Buddies - We greatly encourage each girl to choose a Running Buddy, someone 16 years of age or older to run with her for added support and safety. If under 16, they must be accompanied by another registered, adult Running Buddy. If this is a concern or challenge for your family, please discuss with your daughter’s coach. They can serve as a running buddy or help find one for your girl.

Pre-registration is $15 and ONLINE only. All forms of payment accepted (cash/check may be mailed).
The deadline to be guaranteed an event t-shirt is Wednesday, April 26th.
Day-of registration available for $20 in cash or check.
T-shirts will be available for day-of registration but quantities are limited.

Event Logistics Parking:
General parking available in all outlet lots.
SPECIAL NEEDS PARKING available directly next to the registration area.
Check-In:
GOTR and Heart & Sole participants should find their team flag and check in with a coach.
Other runners should check in at the Registration Tent.
Pre-Run Activities & Info:
Starbucks open at 8:45am in the Food Court.
Restrooms available in outlets and port-a-jons in registration area.
Hip-hop warm-up led from the stage.
Bib Decoration Station, Photo Station, Lego Station, Sponsor Area.
GOTR merchandise will be available for purchase with cash or check.
5k:
Water available on the course.
NON-COMPETITIVE! We want to celebrate each girl reaching the finish line at her own pace!
A timing clock will be at the finish line, but individual runner times will not be recorded.
All GOTR and H&S participants will receive a medal and a goody bag when they cross the finish line.
Post-Run Refreshments:
Snacks & water will be provided to ALL runners.
The HOP Ice Cream and Kona Shaved Ice will be available for purchase. 20% of proceeds go to GOTR.
All stores and food court vendors open by 11am.
