Global Impact Offering: Think Missions local and world Pray, give ,go three grateful disciplines for every day. Greeting and set up with David: Various languages Song: I Will Follow Reading of Psalm 100 in NIV Introduction and PRAY pt. 10 minutes Have you ever been given something but you did not know what it was for? (As with 3 items), Psalm 100 Your world hears the sound Pray, give and go to be engaged in missions I set up the service. Spell it out. Transition into the elements. Be the narrator more than the preacher. The world is overhearing your praise. They hear all your prayers--the requests, petitions, supplications--but nothing has such impact as your praise and thanksgiving. Praise goes beyond wishing for a bigger house or nicer car. It is an unselfish devotion to God that simply surprises the unbeliever. It is the kind of thing that you want your lost loved ones to hear. It expresses your love for God. This is a beautiful and mystifying thing. Intro: All Lands and Generations. The psalm itself wants to go out to the ends of the earth. It reads like a challenge to the nations. Expansive praise: the widest and highest: A. Geographic. All the earth. This could be people of the earth. It could also be all aspects of creation--birds, animals, stars, wind, water, and humans. The word in KJV is "lands." 1. From the beginning, the good news about God’s love was intended to permeate the earth, to reach every human being. 2. Abraham was chosen so that “all peoples on earth will be blessed through you” (Genesis 12:3). This actually happened through the Messiah, the descendant of Abraham. 3. We are pursuing God’s original intent in starting a conversation with and relationship with humans when we take the good news to unreached people groups as we are doing half way around the world through our international partnership. B. Historic. All generations. 1. Every generation is responsible for the people who inhabit the earth at that time. 2. Our generation has the wonderful opportunity to “declare the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (I Peter 2:9). We are telling our story as God’s people to those who have not yet heard. 3. “Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy” (I Peter 2:10). We were once outside of the covenant of grace. Others are still in that situation. We need to take the gospel to them. 4. “Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us” (I Peter 2:11). Our taking the gospel is in part the job of the spoken word and in part the job of faithful living every day. These two together—the spoken witness and the witness of a life lived for Christ—will communicate the full orbed gospel of Jesus Christ in all its wonder and compelling force. I. Shout and Come, PRAY: 1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. 2 Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs (Psalm 100:1-2).

All lands are called to: the highest joy: Shout and Come, global invitation A. Shout for joy. This is the public acknowledgment of our love for and adoration of God. It is the announcement that we believe in him, follow him, and love him. We want the whole world to join in this shout. It is for all the lands.

B. Come before him with joyful songs. Joy comes from a heart unfettered by doubt and fear. As we give the joyful sound, we experience the release from our burdens. Praise puts us in a wonderful place emotionally and spiritually. C. Know that The Lord is God. To know that Yahweh is Elohim is to know: 1. That he made us which means we are his 2. We are his people which means the sheep of his pasture 3. We want everyone will to know the Lord: “This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time,” declares the LORD. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 34 No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the LORD. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” Anna, describe for us this prayer exercise. Prayer song and activity II. Know and Enter, GIVE, 10 minutes: 3 Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise (Psalm 100:3-4)

Video testimonies, 3 min, begin section Havianas were the flip flops we had to buy in brazil for everyone back home The highest clearance: His gates and courts, into his esteemed presence A. ENTER: His gates and courts may be accessed from any place on earth. Every wide spot in the road, every way station, every rock turned into a pillow is a path to his gates and his courts. B. GIVE THANKS: People should come into his presence with thanksgiving. This is the proper way to come. It is a proper gift for the One who has everything. Love and Faithfulness, GO, 10 min: 5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations (Psalm 100:5).

The highest virtues: Love (mercy, chesed) and Faithfulness (truth, firmness, steadfastness) A. God’s love and faithfulness have drawn us to him, and we are saved as a result. B. Proverbs 3:3 says "let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.” 1. We must have these qualities because God has them. 2. We must be faithful and loving to our neighbors as God has been to us. We have been saved through his grace. Now it is our turn to pass on the blessing to others. The measure of our love and faithfulness is our effort to communicate in word and deed the good news about salvation in Christ Jesus. I conclude with story about Songhai boys and three gifts.
