The Senior Pastor shall not fail to provide biblical, wise, prudent and lawful leadership to Chapel Hill that is characterized by the following priorities. EL-1a • • • • • • • •
Lead in shaping the culture of CHPC for the accomplishment of its mission. Accomplish CHPC’s goals as established with Session. As Head of Staff, lead the staff in Missional effectiveness. Watch over, think about, and raise the right questions and issues about the church and its mission. Be the primary interpreter of mission, vision, and direction to the staff, volunteers, congregation, and public. Be the primary preacher. Act as CHPC’s chief development officer. Provide leadership in strategic national, denominational and ecumenical arenas.
