CMR’s new insurance policy is now effective with coverage’s for General Liability and Directors/ Officers. • The board met with the HOA attorney, Peter Kilpatrick to review the current bylaws. • The annual meeting will be October 8, 2009 at the Leon Springs Baptist Church. Please consider running for a Board position or being a committee member. Architectural Review Committee Chairman, Charles Laljer submitted his resignation effective in 6 months. The Board thanks him for 10 years of service. A new ARC Chairman will need to be appointed, We would like to recognize and thank CMR family members that are serving in our armed forces. Homeowners are encouraged to submit names of family members who live in CMR or their children/grandchildren that are serving in the armed forces and we will include them in the newsletter.

The BOD welcomes input from home owners. Do you have a problem, issue, or complaint that you believe the home owners association needs to investigate? If so, e-mail our CMR Community Liaison, Stephen Van Cleave at liaison@ crossmountainranch.org Residents are also encouraged to attend the monthly BOD meetings held the 1st Tuesday of every month. Recipe of the Month Dream Delight Sandy Dinges

6 egg whites • 1 cup pecans 2 cups sugar • 2 tsp. vanilla 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar 2 cups crackers (Club or Waverly)

Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add sugar and cream of tartar. Add vanilla. Fold in crackers and pecans. Spread in a 9 x 13” pan cake pan. Bake at 350º until light brown about 20-25 minutes. Cool completely. Top with your favorite fruit and Cool Whip. If you would like to submit YOUR recipe email it to [email protected].
