(Take It Personal)

Use the below questions to aid you in making personal application of your study in the Word.

1. We have come to the last day of our “In God We Trust” series. What has God been doing in your life? Has the Holy Spirit impressed something on your heart? Take some time to reflect on what has taken place. Write it down so that months and years from now you can look at it again.

2. Psalm 37:33 says “The Lord will not abandon him” (the righteous). Have you ever felt abandoned? By a friend, a family member? By God? What were the feelings you experienced? Do still feel abandoned?

3. Verse 34 exhorts us to “wait for the Lord...He will exalt you”. We saw this in verse 9 also. Pastor Ed made the statement “to wait for the Lord is to have a bold confidence that God has things under His control”. Is that how you would describe waiting on the Lord? Why or why not?
