St. Paul’s KIDS CLUB Recap – March 24, 2019

God Sends Esther to Save the Jews Esther 5:1-8; 8 Through the Week  Every time family members are about to go somewhere this week, pray for them.  Ask God to put them there for a good reason (his reason) and do big things through them.  Don’t forget parents! Kids can pray for parents when they are about to go to work, the store, or other places. Esther is a Jewish woman taken captive and exiled to Persia. When the king of Persia’s wife angers him, he looks for a new queen. God works it so Esther becomes the queen. As queen, Esther has great influence with the king and helps to stop a plot to kill all the Jews living in Persia. Esther bravely tells the king about the plot and its leader, Haman. The king stops the plot, executes Haman, and saves all of Esther’s people, the Jews. Esther didn’t ask to become queen, but God puts her where he wants her to be. God puts us where he wants us to be, too, so we can serve him and others.

the funny video we watched about getting on rides at the amusement park. Why couldn’t the girl get on them? Have you ever been in this same situation? The girl’s size was a problem in the beginning. How did her size help the family out when they got home? How did God put her in the right place at the right time? How did the video relate to the lesson about Esther?
