Now the LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. 6 And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth,

Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. 2 And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.” 3 So He spoke this parable to them, saying:

but I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts.

Godly people communicate they value others.

Godly people have an enduring love. 1 John 2:5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

Godly people have an enduring love. Romans 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Godly people are giving. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Godly people are giving. 1 John 3:17 But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

Godly people are empowering of others.

Godly people are forgiving! Matthew 6:14 "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Godly people are protective John 10:11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
