TRUTH I Can Stand On The Trinity - Perfect Unity and Divinity INTRODUCTION The Trinity is the defining doctrine of Christianity.

THE TRINITY IN SCRIPTURE 1. There is One true God - Deut. 6:4; Eph. 4:3-6 2. God exists in three distinct persons.

 God refers to Himself with plural pronouns in the OT Genesis 1:26; Genesis 11:7; Isaiah 6:8  The Trinity is seen at the Baptism of Jesus – Matthew 3:13-17  Jesus refers to the Trinity in the Great Commission – Matthew 28:19  Paul uses all three Persons of the Trinity in his benediction to the Corinthians – 2 Cor.13:14
