Graphic Designer Company: Located in Westerville, OH, AmeriCheer administers exciting cheerleading and dance competitions and educational summer camps throughout the United States. AmeriCheer is the parent company of AmeriDance, an instructional and competitive dance company; Eastern Cheer & Dance (EASTERN) a Virginia-based competitive cheer and dance company; and Victory Wear, the official apparel provider for the AmeriCheer family of brands. AmeriCheer prides itself in promoting the safety and instructional skills of cheerleading and dance.

Position: Part-time Graphic Designer

Job Description: Maintaining the AmeriCheer, AmeriDance, EASTERN, and Victory Wear brands and upholding them to our certain standards is always of the utmost importance. The Graphic Designer works with the AmeriCheer Family of Brands Marketing team to create content that creatively portrays our brands and analyzes all work to ensure that brand standards are considered in any print and online publications and materials. Major responsibilities include:  Help with all design needs across different departments of the team. Designs include event logos, graphics for our websites and social media outlets, designs for clothing (Victory Wear), etc. The AmeriCheer team is continually updating designs, so your skills will be put to use to improve these and provide inventive materials.  Assist our marketing and events team. You will be responsible for creating designs to be used for events, sponsorship documents, and promotional material. You and the marketing team will partner on all design needs and create materials ranging from flyers, advertisements, etc.

Desired Skills and Experience          

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Knowledge of how to prepare Adobe Illustrator graphics for the screen printing process (using spot color) Strong conceptual skills and foundational knowledge of layout, color, and typography Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Basic photography and photo editing skills Comfortable working on tight deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative Basic web coding skills (HTML/CSS) is a plus Fluency in Spanish a HUGE PLUS (oral &written)
