Gripple Contractor Tool The all-metal Gripple Contractor tool is strong, robust and built to withstand everyday wear and tear. Using minimum effort, each line wire can be tensioned with ease, optimising the life of your fence. ADVANTAGES • Built for daily use associated with contract fencing. • Gear driven, long handles provide a 10:1 mechanical advantage. • All-metal construction, combined with soft, moulded grips for comfortable and efficient use. • Quick release cam makes positioning on the wire easier. • Works on all Gripple units from 1.5mm to 6mm diameter wire. • Integral release key holder, to reposition all Gripple Plus products prior to tensioning.
INSTALLATION • Open the tool handles fully, or alternatively use the Quick release cam. • Locate the mouthpiece onto the Gripple unit and grip the wire with the cam. • Squeeze the handles together to start tensioning the wire. • Repeat until the desired tension is reached. TAKE CARE – do not over tension wire, as this can result in wire breakage and potential injury. • Remove the tool by either squeezing the handles outwards again, or by using the Quick release cam.
TIPS • As with any tool, good care will extend the Gripple Contractor tool’s life • Regularly lubricate the cam area for smooth operation and avoid storing the Contractor tool outside • Replacement cam sets are available to combat the natural wear and tear of the cam’s teeth
