Ministering to people in the remote villages of eastern Guatemala with medical and dental assistance, with water filter distribution and conducting Vacation Bible School.

SUMMARY Our trips to Guatemala are taken in partnership with Reach Beyond Borders. For many years we have ministered with Dr. Pedro Palacios and his team, providing medical, dental and vision care to people living in remote areas of eastern Guatemala, near Puerto Barrios. Many of our FBC family. who have been there before, affectionately refer to this area as “the Hot Place”. Team members will also conduct children’s ministry and distribute water filters to the people there. You can be part of bringing the love of Christ to those who may not know Jesus or understand what His love means. Who - We are looking for people who love Jesus. No previous mission experience is necessary. No medical or dental experience needed. This is not only for those who may believe God is calling them to Latin America, but also for those who would like to take a first trip or a return trip to a region that God has led Faith Bible Church to bless for several years. Also, there is a need for people to join who speak Spanish as a first or second language. Health - You should be in average to good health.
