GUEST SERVICES DIRECTOR 
 


OVERVIEW The Bridge Church is a fast growing church in Spring Hill, TN that has grown from 80 to over 1000 since 2008. This growth curve coupled with our relocation to a new building means we need dedicated leadership for our Guest Services team. With over a thousand people walking through our doors every Sunday, we are adamant to make sure our culture aligns with our message as we welcome people to our church.

ROLE SUMMARY
 Studies show that most guests decide whether or not they will return to a church within the first 7 minutes of pulling into a church parking lot! The Guest Services Director will lead their team in creating a culture of intentional hospitable so that guests can experience a tangible expression of the gospel within their first few minutes. They will lead and oversee our Guest Services team, which includes greeters, coffee, handouts, and parking. They will also ensure that we have all hospitality supplies needed for Sunday mornings.

Fulfill the membership requirements of The Bridge Fulfill the character qualities of a deacon as outlined in Scripture Ability to see and articulate the vision of The Bridge while executing the tasks to fulfill it. Self-directed, solution-oriented, willingness to work in a fast-paced environment Solution-oriented problem solver with the ability to lead a volunteer team A solid, like-minded theological background


SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • • • • • • • • •





Full responsibility for the success of Bridge Guest Services Oversee the Guest Services team and the execution of Sunday mornings Work “up” with the Executive Pastor to develop strategy and goals for this area Work “down” with all teams to implement strategy and cast vision for Bridge Guest Services Invest in current Guest Services Leaders and raise up new leaders for all areas of Guest Services Schedule all Guest Services volunteers through Planning Center Recruit, train and onboard volunteers for Guest Services Execute administrative tasks during the week that correlate with job Always work to “make things better” in your area (improve assimilation, on-boarding and training processes) Order, print, and organize all supplies needed (coffee supplies, handouts, pens, info center items)

SCHEDULE: Sunday - Thursday (when available) HOURS: 15 to 20 (must be available for misc. special events, church meetings, etc as needed) COMPENSATION: TBD VACATION: 2 weeks plus one the week of Christmas
