Franchise Marketing Coordinator Job Description

Reporting Manager: Head of Marketing & Web

Job Purpose Summary The Franchise Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in driving the marketing activities of the international franchise partners. He or she has the duty to assist in the development of on brand campaigns that support the key objectives of driving footfall and increasing sales. The Franchise Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Trading Manager to understand campaigns being delivered are on brand. He or she may also be required to visit territories to support partners in store openings or campaigns delivery. He or she is an important part of the UK Marketing team through the input into the development of campaigns that can be shared globally with franchise partners. Overall purpose of role:  Support all Franchise marketing departments to deliver marketing the Hamleys Way.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities    

    

Responsible for supporting all Franchise partners in the development of Hamleys marketing strategy. Work with ROMs to police franchise partners on adherence to Hamleys brand guidelines across all marketing channels. Support the implementation of franchisees marketing strategy including pre-openings and beyond inputting with on brand ideas and concepts Responsible for defining actions and distributing minutes from regular franchise marketing meetings distributing to key stakeholders including senior management team and ROMs. Responsible for developing and managing the operational relationships between franchise partners and Hamleys global suppliers including: music, character uniforms Responsible for generating briefing documents for the creative team to support the production of marketing material for specific franchise partner campaigns. Build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to deliver to deliver KPIs Challenges and champions change from exposure to marketing and franchise environments. Input into the development of the Global Brand Marketing Strategy through International Franchisees.

Event and Marketing experience, International Marketing experience, Experience working remotely, The ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments and cultures, Willingness to frequently travel and/or stay abroad for extended periods of time, Exposure to International Franchise in retail, Energetic and Creative, Excellent written and verbal skills, Self-motivated and results driven, Organised, efficient with good attention to detail, Excellent written &numerical skills.

Computer skills: 

Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint and Excel).

Education: 

Marketing or PR related degree (Desirable).
