Hamleys’ Flyers Guide Nano Drone Charging -

When the cable is plugged into the drone, the drone itself should be off when charging. When charging the USB cable will have a red light which indicates that it is charging the drone The red light will go off when the drone is fully charged *BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVERCHARGE [e.g. DO NOT leave charging overnight!]* Should ONLY charge for 15-30 min, providing you with flying time of 8-12 min. Use USB charging cable [ONLY use the correct cable]. You can plug the USB cable provided into a computer, laptop, PlayStation or Xbox but avoid phone chargers! This can help you avoid any issues internationally with different cables and plug-ins.

Battery Unit -

If your drone has had a big crash and it no longer turns on, make sure to check that the internal battery has not come loose. To do so take of the shell on the drone by pressing gently on the clips on each side, plug the battery cable back in and put the shell back on.

Lights -

If any of the four lights brake you can still fly your drone, since the lights are just for decoration and not needed for flight. Green Light - Front Blue Light – Back

Propellers/ Blades -

-

If the propellers are not moving: o Remove the blade and check if a hair is stuck on the motor pin or blow to remove any dust, when done pop the propeller back onto the motor pin. If the four propellers move but the nano drone doesn´t fly: o Very important to check that the blades are in the right position! Each blade is marked either with A or B and should be placed diagonally opposite each other i.e. A diagonally from A etc. A

The drone WILL NOT take off if the blades are put on incorrectly and do not correspond to each other as shown above

Trimming (flying the drone): This must be done before the first flight! Through use, the drone can lose their calibration. In order to correct this there are four buttons on the top of the controller. Each one is marked : L – R (on the left top side ) F –B ( on the right top side) L = Left R= Right F= Forward B= Backwards -

When flying and the drone is leaning more to the left to correct press R (right button) repeatedly until it stays still. When flying and the drone is leaning more to the right to correct press L (left button) repeatedly until it stays still. When flying and the drone is leaning more backwards to correct press F (forward button) repeatedly until it stays still. When flying and the drone is leaning more forwards to correct press B (backwards button) repeatedly until it stays still.

FINAL flying instructions: Left stick on the remote –Controls height (up and down), and spins right and left Right stick on the remote– Direction Left and Right The left stick should mainly be placed in the middle and as it is very sensitive use only small micro movements.

P.S. with all of our R/C product please make sure that you have checked that the batteries are placed in the right way!

We hope you are back up and flying!
