1 SUNDAY, MAY 27, 2018

“SEE, WHAT A MORNING” See what a morning, gloriously bright with the dawning of hope in Jerusalem. Folded, the graveclothes, tomb filled with light, as the angels announce, “Christ is risen!” See God’s salvation plan, wrought in love, borne in pain, paid in sacrifice; Fulfilled in Christ, the Man, for He lives: Christ is risen from the dead. See Mary weeping, “Where is He laid?” as in sorrow she turns from the empty tomb, hears a voice speaking, calling her name; It’s the Master, the Lord, raised to life again! The voice that spans the years; speaking life, stirring hope, bringing peace to us will sound ‘til He appears, for He lives: Christ is risen from the dead. One with the Father, Ancient of Days, through the Spirit who clothes faith with certainty. Honor and blessing, glory and praise to the King, crowned with pow’r and authority. And we are raised with Him; Death is dead, love has won, Christ has conquered, And we shall reign with Him, for He lives: Christ is risen from the dead!

2 “COME PRAISE AND GLORIFY” Come praise and glorify our God, the Father of our Lord. In Christ He has in heav’nly realms, His blessings on us poured. For pure and blameless in His sight He destined us to be, and now we’ve been adopted through His Son eternally. (Chorus) To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God who saves. Come praise and glorify our God, who gives His grace in Christ. In Him our sins are washed away; redeemed through sacrifice. In Him God has made known to us the myst’ry of His will, that Christ should be the Head of all, His purpose to fulfill. (Chorus) To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God who saves. Come praise and glorify our God, for we’ve believed the Word, and through our faith we have a seal: The Spirit of the Lord. The Spirit guarantees our hope until redemption’s done, until we join in endless praise to God, the Three in One. (Chorus) To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God who saves. (Chorus) To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God who saves.

3 “BY FAITH” By faith we see the hand of God in the light of creation’s grand design; In the lives of those who prove His faithfulness, who walk by faith and not by sight. By faith our fathers roamed the earth with the power of His promise in their hearts of a holy city built by God's own hand; A place where peace and justice reign. (Chorus) We will stand as children of the promise; we will fix our eyes on Him, our soul's reward. Till the race is finished and the work is done, we'll walk by faith and not by sight. By faith the prophets saw a day when the longed-for Messiah would appear with the power to break the chains of sin and death and rise triumphant from the grave. By faith the church was called to go in the power of the Spirit to the lost; To deliver captives and to preach good news in every corner of the earth. (Chorus) We will stand as children of the promise; we will fix our eyes on Him, our soul's reward. Till the race is finished and the work is done, we'll walk by faith and not by sight. By faith this mountain shall be moved and the power of the gospel shall prevail, for we know in Christ all things are possible for all who call upon His name. (Chorus) We will stand as children of the promise; we will fix our eyes on Him, our soul's reward. Till the race is finished and the work is done, we'll walk by faith and not by sight.

4 “LIVING WATERS” Are you thirsty? Are you empty? Come and drink these living waters. Tired and broken, peace unspoken; Rest beside these living waters. Christ is calling. Find refreshing at the cross of living waters. Lay your life down, all the old gone; Rise up in these living waters. (Chorus) There’s a river that flows with mercy and love bringing joy to the city of our God. There our hope is secure; Do not fear anymore. Praise the Lord of living waters. Spirit moving, mercy washing; Healing in these living waters. Lead your children to the shore line. Life is in these living waters. (Chorus) There’s a river that flows with mercy and love bringing joy to the city of our God. There our hope is secure; Do not fear anymore. Praise the Lord of living waters. Are you thirsty? Are you empty? Come and drink these living waters. Love, forgiveness, vast and boundless; Christ, He is our living waters. (Chorus) There’s a river that flows with mercy and love bringing joy to the city of our God. There our hope is secure; Do not fear anymore. Praise the Lord of living waters. There our hope is secure; Do not fear anymore. Praise the Lord of living waters.

5 “MAN OF SORROWS” Sent of heaven, God's own Son, to purchase and redeem; And reconcile the very ones who nailed Him to that tree. (Chorus) Oh that rugged cross, my salvation, where Your love poured out over me. Now my soul cries out: Hallelujah, praise and honor unto Thee! (Bridge) Now my debt is paid, it is paid in full by the precious blood that my Jesus spilled. Now the curse of sin has no hold on me; whom the Son sets free Oh, is free indeed. Now my debt is paid, it is paid in full by the precious blood that my Jesus spilled. Now the curse of sin has no hold on me; whom the Son sets free Oh, is free indeed. (Chorus) Oh that rugged cross, my salvation, where Your love poured out over me. Now my soul cries out: Hallelujah, praise and honor unto Thee! See the stone is rolled away; behold the empty tomb. Hallelujah, God be praised; He's risen from the grave. (Chorus) Oh that rugged cross, my salvation, where Your love poured out over me. Now my soul cries out: Hallelujah, praise and honor unto Thee, Praise and honor unto Thee.

6 ANTHEM “SON OF MAN” What can wash away my sin? Only the blood, the blood of Jesus. What can make me clean again? Only Your love can cover me. Son of Man at the Father’s right hand, You know my name, my ev’ry need. Son of Man, only You understand. Speak for me. How can I, with all my shame, come before the throne of Jesus? I draw near because You save. Only Your grace can set me free. Son of Man at the Father’s right hand, You know my name, my ev’ry need. Son of Man, only You understand. Speak for me. Son of Man, You walked my streets. You cried my tears. You took my cross. Son of Man, You paid my debt, and now You stand to plead my cause. Son of Man, You walked my streets, You cried my tears. You took my cross. Son of Man, You paid my debt, and now You stand to plead my cause. In this world where all is lost, now my hope is found in Jesus. All my joy, my righteousness, only Your blood can speak for me. Oh, Son of Man at the Father’s right hand, You know my name, my ev’ry need. Son of Man, only You understand. Speak for me. Speak for me. Son of Man at the Father’s right hand, You know my name, my ev’ry need. Son of Man, only You understand. Speak for me. Speak for me.

“SHOW US CHRIST” Prepare our hearts, O God, help us to receive; Break the hard and stony ground, help our unbelief. Plant Your Word down deep in us, cause it to bear fruit; Open up our ears to hear, lead us in Your truth. (Chorus) Show us Christ, show us Christ; O God, reveal Your glory through the preaching of Your Word until every heart confesses Christ is Lord.

INVITATION “GRACE GREATER THAN OUR SIN” Marvelous grace of our loving Lord, grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt! Yonder on Calvary’s mount outpoured, there where the blood of the Lamb was spilt. (Chorus) Grace, grace, God's grace; grace that will pardon and cleanse within. Grace, grace, God's grace; grace that is greater than all our sin. Sin and despair, like the sea waves cold, threaten the soul with infinite loss, Grace that is greater, yes, grace untold, points to the refuge, the mighty cross. (Chorus) Grace, grace, God's grace; grace that will pardon and cleanse within. Grace, grace, God's grace; grace that is greater than all our sin. Dark is the stain that we cannot hide; What can avail to wash it away? Look! there is flowing a crimson tide; Whiter than snow you may be today. (Chorus) Grace, grace, God's grace; grace that will pardon and cleanse within. Grace, grace, God's grace; grace that is greater than all our sin. Marvelous, infinite, matchless grace, freely bestowed on all who believe, You that are longing to see His face, will you this moment His grace receive? (Chorus) Grace, grace, God's grace; grace that will pardon and cleanse within. Grace, grace, God's grace; grace that is greater than all our sin.

8 OFFERTORY “OH THE DEEP, DEEP LOVE” Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus, vast, unmeasured, boundless, free; Rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me. Underneath me, all around me is the current of Your love; Leading onward, leading homeward to Your glorious rest above. (Chorus) Oh the deep, deep love; all I need and trust is the deep, deep love of Jesus. Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus; spread His praise from shore to shore; How He came to pay our ransom through the saving cross He bore, how He watches o’er His loved ones, those He died to make His own, how for them He’s interceding, pleading now before the throne. (Chorus) Oh the deep, deep love; all I need and trust is the deep, deep love of Jesus. Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus, far surpassing all the rest; It’s an ocean full of blessing in the midst of every test. Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus, mighty Savior, precious Friend; You will bring us home to glory where Your love will never end. (Chorus) Oh the deep, deep love; all I need and trust is the deep, deep love of Jesus.

BENEDICTION “LIVING WATERS” There’s a river that flows with mercy and love bringing joy to the city of our God. There our hope is secure; Do not fear anymore. Praise the Lord of living waters.
