AWANA usually has a fo o d driv e in November but this year it was decided to have a penny drive to raise funds to help support AWANA clubs that are reaching out to kids around the world. It was a contest between boys and girls and the girls won by $6.75 which granted the girls the privilege of having Dave Burger take a cream pie in the face. When all was said and cleaned up, a total of $172.29 was raised to help share the gospel. Good work kids! Have you ever thought about doing a mission? We have a local option right here for you. There are 115+ children who need you. We are looking for listeners and people that like to have fun. We are growing and a few more leaders are needed on Wednesday nights for AWANA. If you are interested please call Dave and Courtney Burger, our AWANA commanders, at 466-3108.
