With the Fourth of July holiday approaching, please be aware that that it is illegal to deploy fireworks within city limits. Despite our rural setting, all of Harris Branch is within the City Limits. Nationwide, fireworks cause more than 24,000 fires, 8,000 injuries, 20 deaths and $26 million in property damage every year. Some of Austin’s most devastating fires have been started by the use of illegal fireworks. Please be considerate of your neighbors and their property and refrain from using fireworks within our neighborhood.
