Announcing the Next Study for Your Small Group: Hazardous Saints Christians Risking All, Changing Everything C. K. Robertson In six engaging sessions, your adult or young adult small group (also works for individual study) will explore the lives of six Christian “saints” who risked all for the sake of the gospel. Like Jesus, in whose footsteps they followed, each of the persons being featured—Barnabas, Francis of Assisi, Thomas Cranmer, Sojourner Truth, Dorothy Day, and Oscar Romero—were change agents in their time. They made the powerful uncomfortable while making a difference in the lives of many around them. This program helps us to consider how we, too, can reflect the love of Christ in creative and intentional ways. An innovative feature of Hazardous Saints are its unique “three-track” endings: each session concludes with your choice of three endings, one for individuals using the resource on their own, one for smallgroups meeting together, and one for church leadership (vestries, committees, etc.). The Rev. Dr. C. K. Robertson, an ordained priest for more than two decades, serves as Canon to the Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church and Distinguished Visiting Professor at the General Theological Seminary. A Fellow of the Episcopal Church Foundation and former member of the Governing Board of the National Council of Churches, “Chuck” holds a Ph.D. from Durham University in England.
