JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Assistant Manager – Customer Experience Classification: Salary/Full-Time Reports To: Store Manager – Hope’s Closet Thrift Supervises: Hope’s Closet’s Employees and Volunteers Purpose To help manage day-to-day operations for customer experience department and execute sales strategies to drive sales revenue while keeping focus on The Church of Eleven22 vision of being a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. Education • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree preferred Experience • 3-5 years of relevant work experience, must include retail management experience, clothing retail preferred. Key Responsibilities • Minister of the Gospel • Assist the Store Manager in managing & executing Hope’s Closet’s Store Processes: o Sales – Meeting sales goals and executing plans o Operations, which include opening and closing the store o Scheduling for department and may also include leading in the recruitment of serve staff for sales floor o Customer Relations o Merchandising & Replenishment Process o Maintain Budget Control o Loss Prevention o Training of staff • Responsible for proper safety and security policies and processes • Lead in the reporting on department – ie: Store Sales, Departments, Merchandising, Inventory Estimation, Serve Staff Hours and Customers • Develop, disciple & manage Hope’s Closet employees and volunteers • Assist in serve staff orientation using these times to cast vision • 24/7 on call Hope’s Closet store contact (shared with Hope’s Closet management team and facility coordinator) • Ministry Partnership –track inventory levels for Ministry Partnership and communicate needs to Ministry Director.
